Korean Pop Culture

11 December 2008

My students are only elementary age, but are still big consumers of pop culture.  I catch them doodling famous Korean band names like Big Bang or singing songs by the Korean group Wondergirls throughout classes.  Many activities we do in class elicit responses to these musicians or songs by some sort of action or impromptu singing.  While this won’t make much sense here, my lovely friends at Eat Your Kimchi have made another entertaining video on this exact topic so that I won’t have to.

Once again, it is highly amusing.  It is a perfect way to get a dose of mainstream Korean coolness (of which I am trying to achieve).

If nothing else, a good source of some Thursday entertainment for you all.
